Part of Norma’s production is hardened to achieve the required properties. We use an isothermal quenching process to heat the parts to 850 … 900 ° C and then cool rapidly in the molten salt.
We use four flow lines to process products, the newest of which started its work in the summer of 2018. All lines are fully automated and computer-controlled, plus two of the four lines have integrated devices for post-quench cleaning.
The total volume of quenched products is about 4,000 tonnes per year.
