Our customer is the international automotive industry. Our commodities are safety and confidence.
We have been manufacturing complex stamped products which our customers have always considered highly satisfactory in terms of both quality and durability since 1891.
Our connections with the international automotive industry were established in 1973, the year in which Norma started producing safety belts for cars. In addition to manufacturing and distributing safety systems for cars, today's Norma is gradually becoming a considerable manufacturer of safety equipment components for the international automotive industry.
The historical experience and traditions of the enterprise, the increasing number of requirements of the automotive industry, and professional staff have all made it possible for AS Norma to develop into a substantial and vertically-integrated organisation that incorporates various processes starting from product development and tool-making to modern automated manufacturing. The technologies available to our customers include sheet metal progressive stamping - including fineblanking, plastic injection moulding, electroplating, and various assembly operations.
The main objective of AS Norma for the upcoming years is to maintain its market position with key customers and achieve remarkable growth in sales of the components and assemblies of safety equipment within the market segment of the suppliers of the international automotive industry.
Intense competition in the automotive industry forces us to constantly focus on raising the efficiency of manufacturing and improving product quality. AS Norma has been certified to the automotive quality management standard ISO/TS 16949:2009, and the environmental management system standard ISO 14001:2004.
